A new Municipal Hall was inaugurated, where the mayor of Itapevi is. The managers understood that they needed to invest in the modernization of equipment and systems, since these were already obsolete.

What was the solution presented?

The contract included the provision and installation of 5 video-call extensions and an IP telephone exchange with 220 branches in the 5-storey building of the city hall. Besides these, it was also contemplated in the billing and management project. The city has invested in the Rainbow solution which is based on Unified Communication Cloud as Service (UCaas). Rainbow has a hybrid cloud approach that addresses customer needs from PMES to multinational organizations that want a single standard for communications in their complex IT environment. The solution provides integration capabilities in customer business processes, websites, mobile applications and workflows across multiple sets of APIS and SDKS, including services from the existing PBX infrastructure itself.

The solution is already in place and as a result of a Unified Communications solution, Itapevi City Hall has acquired more mobility and flexibility, which has allowed Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and the client company to achieve the result achieved completely satisfactorily.
