Eixo SP is responsible for the largest highway concession in the country. There are more than 1,200 kilometers of network formed by 12 highways in São Paulo that pass through 62 municipalities, from Rio Claro, in the central region of the State of São Paulo, to Panorama, in the extreme west, on the border with the State of Mato Grosso do Sul.

What was the client’s problem?

EIXO-SP had the need for new concessions with Artesp’s determination to deliver mobility to highway users.

Therefore, the dealership needed to offer Wi-Fi coverage to its users so that communication could be carried out between drivers and the dealership, to request SOS – Help in case of need.

3CORP did the entire project behind it, which was the construction of the network backbone, through the construction of the fiber optic backbone, the installation of all the Infra poles for the Wi-Fi, the access points, everything else and so on. the CCTV, which was also a project delivered by 3CORP.

What was the solution presented?

3CORP was responsible for the development and implementation of Wi Fi coverage on 1200 km of Eixo SP highway;
• Fiber optic backbone – 1200km long;
• Wi-Fi 6 coverage on 1200km of highway;
• 100% coverage via roaming (2,100 Access Points) totaling 4,200 sector antennas;
• Total of 2,100 posts installed with SPDA system;
• CCTV system with analytical cameras for reading illegal parking events, objects on the road and pedestrians – 1,080 cameras

Among the results obtained by the client with this solution, the following stand out:
mobility was provided to users through the installation of 1,200 km of Wi-Fi for user service aimed at providing various information and support and emergency incidents.

Complementing the project, 1,080 CCTV cameras were implemented, with artificial intelligence that comply with the notice to identify actions of some events along the highway, which are mandatory events such as, for example, the identification of objects on the road, illegal parking , on the shoulder, vehicles on the wrong side of the road, pedestrians on the road and fires.
